How we segment gulets when it comes to Gulet Charters?

Why it matters so much to segment gulets and clients when it comes to gulet charter? Why some gulets are perfect for one type of groups while some gulets are perfect for other types of groups.

We will explain this in this post as well as how we segment our groups and clients.

It is by age mostly and I will explain why.

If you have small kids on board, it is crucial that gulet has a strong and safe fence, the crew that likes little kids running around, large saloon with a TV. The main thing on this kind of cruise is safety and crew that knows what is doing when it comes to children. Not every gulet has this.

If you are a group of seniors, it is super important that access to the sea is easy, that the food is amazing, cabins a bit more comfortable and that captain can show you around and how you lots of different interesting places. If the group is not made of super young sailors it also always a plus. Not every gulet has this!

If you are a group of teenagers I am sure you do not wish to come into a situation when they will be bored!?! They will suck all your blood and this is not a nice way to spend your cruise. They need lots of water sports equipment, animation interesting itinerary, and patient crew. Again, not every gulet has this.

It is very important to select the appropriate gulet according to what type of group you are.

Situation No. 1 - Bad crew for party people

Imagine you are a group of party people that wish to drink, dance and party all night long – every day! You come to a perfect gulet, with nice cabins, brand new and the price you received was amazing. But the crew is made from a bit older captain and chef, that is amazing but need their night sleep. And the owner of this gulet is also allergic if he sees people jumping up and down on the gulet! It will be horrible!

Situation No. 2 - Bad itinerary for seniors

Now imagine you are a group of seniors that wish to relax and take it easy, escape the crowds and enjoy the nature. But their friends told them they should cruise Hvar, Korčula, and Dubrovnik as well as other islands and spend the nights in ports. The group will go absolutely crazy. They will not be able to sleep in the night because of the noise. The crowds will be crazy and the entire holiday will end up as a real nightmare.

Situation No. 3 - Bad food and gulet selection for group without kids

You have a budget of € 10.000 per week for 5 couples (10 people) and you select a nice luxury gulet (25% off) and take economy food. Gulet is nice but you eat french fries and hamburgers all week. Is this what you expected for € 1.000 per person per week? But the gulet is amazing and huge?! It does not matter. It would be much better to take standard gulet and book luxury food menu and enjoy it like crazy.
