Croatia Tavern Explorations Cruise from Dubrovnik
Sometimes we get our hands on some really good stuff! And this cruise route is good stuff! A client of ours was interested to have a Dubrovnik – Dubrovnik cruise with the possibility to go out of the gulet to a restaurant (tavern) every evening.
And this is what we prepared with the help of one of gulet owners.
Here we go. You are most welcome to consider this itinerary also for your gulet cruise trip.
Day 1 - Zaton Village
Embarkation, sail to the village of Zaton, dinner at local tavern where you could soak your feet in the sea while having an exquisite dinner.

Day 3 - Island Mljet
Sail to the island of Mljet, lunch en route, dinner in cove Saplunara, Tavern Stermasi.
Day 4 - Polače

Day 8 – Gruž
Short sail to port Gruž for mid morning disembarkation. This is a brief description, a lot of swimming, sightseeing, and walking can be done, of course all of this can be modified. Fishing and diving also available. Please note exclusive fish menu available, local fresh daily catch, special rates apply. On this itinerary, you will have a great combination of checking nature like easy going not so crowded places on one hand and going out of gulet to nice taverns for nice dinners.
This route is not for party animals.
I would recommend this to:
- Seniors,
- Couples with no children, that wish to escape,
- Families with small children (just in this case I would not visit lots of taverns, as kids will be bored).
