A large sailboat with white sails glides on deep blue ocean water under a clear blue sky.

Yachts this size usually charter for €200,000 to €300,000 a week. Oguz Khan gives 1 group of up to 12 guests the whole yacht: 6 cabins, 10 crew, 3 open decks. Plus expenses.

OGUZ KHAN

The beach is at the back of the yacht. Your cabin is on the same level.

The rear of Oguz Khan works like a private beach. The lounge opens onto the swimming platform, the platform opens onto the water, and the cabins are on that same level. You step out and the sea is already there. There is no ladder to queue at, no wet walk through the saloon and no need to turn swimming into a planned event. The floating sea pool, Seabobs, electric foils and tenders are close to the cabins, ready when your group is. That matters when your group includes children, grandparents and confident swimmers who all want to use the water differently.

LIFE ON OGUZ KHAN

The sea is where your day happens.

Wake up, step from your cabin towards the water and swim before breakfast. Take the Seabobs or electric foils out before lunch. Return to the floating sea pool in the afternoon and finish the day under the Caribbean sky. On Oguz Khan, the water is not something you only look at from the deck. It is part of how the whole group spends the day.

Life across three levels

Three levels. Three ways to spend the day.

Beach Lounge: water-level access to the swimming platform, floating sea pool and water toys. Aft Deck: open-air dining for the group and an open-air cinema after dark. Sundeck: bar, sunbeds, jacuzzi and a second helm with nothing ahead but the horizon. The best place may be the lowest one: the deck where your cabin opens towards the sea.

Local support

Known by the captain. Planned with local expertise.

Captain Ümit Yıldırım has known Oguz Khan since her construction and is her first captain. He knows the yacht from the keel up, not only from a handover document. Goolets coordinates the charter with the captain, crew and local Caribbean support team. Before departure, your charter planner works through the route, preferences, menus, transfers and practical details with your group.

FAQ

The questions that matter most.

1.

How close are the cabins to the water?

On the same level. The accommodation deck, the beach lounge and the swimming platform are all one deck, so there are no stairs between your bed and the sea.

2.

Is she suitable for young children and older guests?

Particularly so. Nobody has to manage a ladder or a flight of stairs to get in the water, and the ten by seven and a half metre floating sea pool gives the youngest swimmers an enclosed piece of open water alongside everyone else.

3.

What costs sit beyond the charter fee?

A.P.A. at 30% of the charter price, VAT depending on the location, and an optional gratuity. Your broker prepares an itemised estimate before booking.

4.

Can the whole group dine together?

Yes. The aft deck seats all twelve at one sitting, and the 96 square metre saloon holds everybody indoors when the evening turns.

5.

Does she sail?

Yes. She is a motor-sailer, so the captain uses the rig when the wind allows and the engines when it does not. The week is shaped around the conditions rather than a fixed timetable.

6.

Where does she cruise?

Antigua to Sint Maarten is the main route, by way of Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis, and St Barth. Round trips from either end work just as well. The Virgin Islands and the Bahamas are available on request.
