Your group takes the whole yacht and 10 crew for 2,700 nautical miles to Antigua. From €180,000, plus catering and taxes.
One yacht, one group, the whole Atlantic.
Oguz Khan is a 50.5-meter sailing yacht built for serious offshore passages, giving one private group the rare opportunity to cross the Atlantic with 10 professional crew and the entire yacht to themselves.

She is built to be sailed across an ocean.
Oguz Khan is a ketch with 900 m² of sail, and the intention on every crossing is to sail it. You are not driven across the Atlantic. You cross it at the speed the wind gives you.

2 crossings this season. 1 group each way.
Each crossing carries a single group on the whole yacht, so once a direction is reserved, it is gone for this season.
Westbound, November 2026
Oguz Khan leaves Bodrum on or around 1 November 2026, reaches Málaga or Gibraltar around 9 November and the Canary Islands around 13 November, with arrival in Antigua targeted for around 28 November. The yacht leaves in a matter of weeks, so the November crossing has to be reserved now.

Eastbound, April 2027
The return crossing leaves Antigua on or around 15 April 2027 and brings the yacht home to the Mediterranean, ending in Italy on the longest option. It is a crossing in its own right, not a repositioning with guests attached.
These dates are estimates, not commitments. Final routing, passage duration and arrival depend on the weather, the sea and the Captain’s voyage plan.

Certified for unrestricted navigation.
Oguz Khan holds RINA Charter Class certification for unrestricted navigation. The 50.5 m steel ketch, launched in 2026, has the range to sail from Gibraltar to Antigua without refuelling. On board, guests enjoy a 96 m² saloon, 6 en-suite cabins with individual air conditioning and ventilation, and a private Turkish hammam in the master suite.

Captained by the man who helped build her.
Captain Ümit Yıldırım has 15 years of yachting experience, has crossed the Atlantic before and has known Oguz Khan since her construction.
A professional crew of 10 operates the yacht around the clock, with at least 3 crew on night watch. All crew hold advanced first aid training, with remote medical consultation available via Starlink where connectivity permits.

Stand a night watch under a sky with no city lights.
Join the crew on the bridge for night watches, navigation briefings, wildlife watching, fishing or stargazing whenever conditions allow.
Cabins are serviced daily and laundry is handled on board. Everything is optional — you remain a guest, never part of the crew.

For groups who have wanted to cross an ocean for years.
This crossing suits friends or family who value the achievement over a fixed itinerary and are drawn to navigation, wildlife, the night sky and life at sea. It is not for those who need a guaranteed arrival date or expect a traditional Mediterranean charter. Guests must be 18 or older, previous yacht experience is strongly preferred, and every group is reviewed before acceptance.

For November, the process has to start now: the yacht leaves Bodrum around 1 November 2026 and the Canary Islands around 13 November. The eastbound crossing leaves Antigua around 15 April 2027.

Request the crossing detailsThe questions that matter most.
Can we book a single cabin or join another group?
Oguz Khan crosses with one group only, on the whole yacht. If your group is smaller than 12, the yacht is still yours alone.
Does she actually sail?
Yes. She is a ketch with 900 m² of sail and professional-grade rigging. The intention on every crossing is to sail; the engines are for very severe weather and for days with little or no wind.
Is this a normal luxury charter?
No. It is a private, high-comfort Atlantic expedition. You have professional crew, accommodation and full-board catering, but offshore conditions can change the level and style of service.
How long does it take?
The Canary Islands to Antigua passage is estimated at 14 to 20 days. The longer options add the positioning stages from Málaga or Gibraltar, or from Bodrum.
Why is the fee fixed if the days change?
You book the complete crossing, not a number of charter days. A faster or slower passage does not change the fee. Only the catering follows the actual duration.
Can we take part in the night watch?
Yes. At least 3 crew are on watch every night and guests are welcome to join them. The yacht is never left in the care of a guest alone.
What happens if someone falls ill?
Every crew member holds advanced first aid training. Where a Starlink connection is available, the Captain can consult a doctor remotely, and in a serious case he decides whether to continue, alter course or divert.
What if I become seasick?
Movement and seasickness are real parts of an ocean crossing and can last several days. Discuss prevention and medication with your doctor before you travel.
Will we always have internet?
Starlink is expected to provide connectivity where coverage and equipment permit. Uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed, and there will be times without it.
Can we swim or use the water toys?
Swimming is possible only when and where the Captain expressly approves it, and there is no water-sports programme during the open-ocean passage.
Can we leave the yacht during the passage?
Only at an available and safe port, or through an emergency diversion authorised by the Captain. Leaving the yacht in the open Atlantic is not possible.
