Anguilla

One of the most northerly of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles. The territory consists of the main island of Anguilla, together with a number of much smaller islands and cays with no permanent population. Anguilla is a flat, low-lying island of coral and limestone, noted for its ecologically coral reefs and beaches.

Rendezvous Bay is one of the favorites spots, with laid-back bars and views to the hills of St. Martin. You can also visit Meads Bay, a wide and expansive bay with top hotels, villas, and restaurants. Or Sint Maarten (Dutch). Island is divided roughly between the French Republic and the Kingdom of the Nederlands, but the two parts are roughly equal in population. The main cities are Philipsburg (Dutch side) and Marigot (French Side).

This is the most visited of all the Leeward islands because of beaches and lagoons, mountain range, luxury hotels, elegant villas, and over 300 restaurants to choose from. Its endless stretches of golden and white sand beaches could earn it the moniker ”The Sun-Soaked Island”. Shopping on the island is duty-free. St. Martin is home to the world’s steepest zip line ”The Flying Dutchman”, up to four riders can zoom straight down the hill.

Or St. Barthélemy forms, with St. Martin, Anguilla, and Dog Island, a distinct group that lies upon the western edge of a flat bank of soundings composed chiefly of shells, sand, and coral. Volcanic island fully encircled by shallow reefs. The only Caribbean island that was a Swedish colony for any significant length of time.

St. Barths has a marine nature reserve, known as the Reserve Naturelle that covers over 1200 ha, and is divided into 5 zones all around the island to form a network of protected areas. Marine mammals are many, such as dolphins, porpoises, and whales, which are seen here during the migration period from December until May. Turtles are a common sight along the coastline of the island. They are all protected species and in the endangered list.

Officially known as the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, located in the Leeward Islands chain of the Lesser Antilles. The capital city is Basseterre, located on the larger island of St. Kitts. These were among the first islands in the Caribbean to be colonized by Europeans and also been titled ”The Mother Colony of the West Indies”.

Visit the Brimstone Hill Fortress on St. Kitts, when you will climb to the top, you can will up to six other islands in the distance. If you want more relaxation, you should head to Oualie Beach and Pinney’s Beach on Nevis, and enjoy beach bar or go snorkeling the crystal clear waters.

One of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean region and the main island of the country of Antigua and Barbuda. Antigua is one of the Caribbean’s premier destinations. It’s also known for hosting the world’s foremost regattas during annual Sailing week.

The most popular spots are Princess Diana Beach, Pink Sand Beach, 17-Mile Beach, and Coco Point.
