What is A.P.A.?
In general, the charter fee covers only the yacht and crew booking, all other expenses are in addition to the charter fee. These additional expenses are covered by the Advance Provisioning Allowance or A.P.A. So you could say APA is a deposit that will cover costs during the charter. Like fuel, food, drinks, berths, etc. At the end of the charter, the captain will show you all costs with the hours of navigation. Any APA that was not used will be returned to you at the end of the charter as you leave, but if you exceed the amount then you will have to pay the difference before disembark. But that happens rarely and it depends on how much you spend and sail.
